“We got to run the campaign our way,” Morain said. “We might have done a few things differently if we had more time and money, but we ran a good race with what we had.”
Morain said it was hard to lose the race at a time when there were so many Republican wins nationally.

Bob Morain, who is challenging incumbent John Kefalas for the House District 52 seat, said it’s important for the complex’s residents to be able to vote in the right race.
“This is good news for the people who haven’t submitted their ballots,” Morain said. “It’s important to let people vote in the race they should vote in.”

Mary Willhite wanted to vote for her friend Bob Morain in state House District 52. But when she got her ballot in the mail, it listed the House District 53 race….Willhite is disappointed. “(Morain’s) a good friend of mine,” she said. “We need more people like him in the Statehouse.”

Bob Morain, also is a respected candidate. Morain, a Fort Collins Republican, thoughtfully represents the public’s discontent with state government….he does reflect voter dismay at the impact of state fees on residents and businesses. And his logic is on target that if the state needed more money to repair bridges, then it should have made its argument to the people via a vote rather than a vehicle registration fee.
